EXTENDED ACCESS APPOINTMENTS
Loxwood Medical Practice offers a limited number of Extended Access
appointments for its patients. These appointments are in addition to our
core working hours and are designed to accommodate non urgent
appointments for patients who may otherwise struggling to visit the
doctor during normal working hours. To find out if there is an Extended
Access appointment that may suit your needs then please speak to our
reception team.
If you book an Extended Access appointment please consider the
following:
- There will only be a doctor available. There will be no
nurses, receptionists, dispensary or telephone access. We must
emphasise that no other services will be offered.
- We are not able to perform any intimate examination during an
Extended Access appointment.
- Extended Access are not emergency appointments; these will
continue to be dealt with by the Out Of Hours service which is
currently Harmoni.
- Extended Access appointment must be pre-booked.
- If you find that your Extended Access appointment is no longer
suitable we ask that you notify us so that we can offer the
appointment to other patients.
