Health Care
Assistants
The Health Care Assistants can help you with:
- Blood tests
- New patient checks
- Dressings
- Blood pressure checks
- Removal of stitches
District
Nursing Team
They provide
skilled nursing care to those who require it in the community. They are
available to provide help and support for carers, the long term or
terminally ill and will also provide help and advice on continence
problems.
The district nurses can be
contacted between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday on 01798 342349.
Health Visitor
Sue Warren RGN, HV Cert. is based at Loxwood
Surgery and she provides a home visiting service to all families with
children under 5 years of age, both for the children and the family
members. She is involved in antenatal care and child health development
and currently runs a postnatal group for all mothers.
She can be contacted at the Surgery 9am to 5pm Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday
on 01403 753380. At other times please leave a message
on her voicemail.
Midwife
The Midwife offers help and advice throughout your pregnancy and holds
weekly antenatal clinics. She will advise on antenatal classes and
breast-feeding.
